Petasos Beach Resort is that rare vacation ideal: set next to a sandy beach and within walking distance of a selection of local tavernas and amenities. Getting into Mykonos Town is also a breeze, with a journey time of just ten minutes to reach the busier beaches and bustling town.
Rooms and suites at Petasos Beach Resort are light and airy, thanks to the use of a natural palette with bright pops of blue - typical of the island's design. Each room has its own terrace or balcony, making for the perfect place to relax in privacy, enjoying the beautiful sea views.
Platis Yialos, the closest beach located just 30 meters from the hotel, is blessed with golden sand and lined with a number of relaxed cafes and restaurants. The beach is public and day beds are available to rent. For the more lively bars, including the famous Nammos Restaurant, head to Psarou Beach which is located in the next bay along from Petasos Beach Resort and a ten-minute walk from the hotel.
If you want a break from the beach, the hotel's pool offers beautiful views across the bay and out to sea. Le Club Pool Restaurant is positioned to one side of the pool and serves a delicious lunch menu along with drinks throughout the day. The breakfast spread at the second restaurant, VIP Restaurant, is a sight to behold and the views out over the water make the most important meal of the day a real event. An equally impressive a la carte menu is available in the evening, with the lights of Psarou Bay as a backdrop.
All rooms feature a terrace or balcony, individually controlled air-conditioning, satellite television and music, refrigerator/minibar, hairdryer, WiFi, and exclusive bath amenities by Gilchrist & Soames. Some of the larger suites have a private Jacuzzi and steam room.

The Diamond Suite is a three-bedroom suite providing ample space for families or groups of friends. There is a large living room, four spa bathrooms, a fitness room, rooftop terrace and private swimming pool. In total, the Diamond Suite measures 240 sqm.

The Roof Top Villa is a one-bedroom villa measuring 85 sqm, including a spacious living room with kitchenette, two spa bathrooms and a roof terrace.
|Prince Pool Villa||
The Prince Pool Villa is spread of two floors, each of which has a bedroom and living room. The villa measures 165 sqm, including two bathrooms, however there is 240 sqm of outdoor space comprising a roof terrace, large veranda and private pool.
|Galaxy Pool Villa||
The Galaxy Pool Villa is a three-bedroom villa, with a large living room and kitchenette. Each bedroom has an en-suite spa bathroom, and the interior measures a total of 135 sqm. Outside, the roof terrace has an outdoor dining area and a large infinity pool with fantastic sea views.
There are two restaurants, the informal Le Club Restaurant which serves delicious Mediterranean cuisine throughout the day and the a la carte VIP Restaurant, open for breakfast and dinner. Le Club Restaurant overlooks the sea and pool, and has a small bar area with covered and outdoor seating. The VIP Restaurant sits on the edge of the peninsula and has stunning views over the turquoise waters of the bay and out to sea. The menu offers international cuisine combined with more traditional Greek dishes.

Petasos Beach Resort lies just 4 kilometers from Mykonos Town on Platys Yialos, on the island's south coast. The famous Psarou beach is just around the bay, ten minutes' walk from the hotel.
When to go
Mykonos is a summer destination, and hotels only operate between late April to late October. On average, the warmest months of the year are July and August, when the beaches and towns are more crowded with other visitors. June and September are good months to visit, when the island is quieter but temperatures are still high.
