"Loved the hotel, the right amount of personal space in the villa and amenities. Both children’s clubs were fabulous, a better range for our 5 year old than the one at Pine Cliffs, a really nice range of activities. The children literally had the best time at kids club, they ran in excited every morning and that made my husband and I relaxed for the day with no guilt!" CW

"Julie Geyton was just excellent. She perfectly understood our requirements and delivered. From shaving the budget as requested but in particular also highlighting those features we could loose and those we really could not. Her championing of Shahpura Bagh as a not to be missed part of our trip (and essential downtime on a packed schedule) was utterly correct, maintained in spite of our initial reluctance and a total highlight of our trip. There really is no substitute for having been to these places and having the experience and knowledge to help steer a trip. The on ground company were excellent throughout. Our driver (Govind) was absolute bedrock, safe and really good company. The guides were universally first class with particular mentions to Narindrar (Jaipur) an urbane, hugely experienced and endlessly fascinating character and Lokesh (Udaipur) being the standouts. Of all the countries I have so far travelled to I got the strong feeling there were definitely right and wrong ways to do things in India that could provide a range of experience from sheer delight to utter hell. The fact that we only experienced fascination and delight says it all as to the quality of trip Scott Dunn provided and the thought and experience that went into creating it." CR

"Tom was wonderful from start to finish, but also his colleagues Laura and Shameem who also helped us in his absence, including navigating the tourist e-visas. The efficiency of the holiday was great, in that there was barely any wasted time. We were straight into safari off the Mara airstrip after a one night layover in Nairobi (a very comfortable night & excellent breakfast at the Tamarind Tree). The Saruni Mara lodge was perfect for us as first time Safari tourists. The staff at the hotel are simply incredible people and we cannot be thankful enough to them and also our Masai guide Diana. Food was remarkable. Our flights to Zanzibar via Nairobi Wilson worked really well and as efficiently as we could hope for (plus what an experience on a 12 seater Cessna!). The journey to Baraza was as expected and the sheer relief & delight to turn up there greeted by our lovely host Angela and see how truly exceptional the property and villas are was a great feeling! Also what food there too - every meal was delicious & thoroughly well thought through. Fantastic all round. " SM
