Mykonos Grand is a luxurious beach resort nestled in a serene setting on the beach of Agios Ioannis. A set of whitewashed cycladic buildings set across the backdrop of azure sea and skies, Mykonos Grand is an idyllic beach retreat.
Mykonos Grand is a wonderful beach-side boutique resort. The resort is known for its fabulous views of the sparkling Aegean Sea, exceptional service and excellent location. It is the perfect place to spend a few nights or even a couple of weeks. The resort has been designed to enhance the beauty of the natural surroundings while providing the ultimate luxury.
Mykonos Town is just over four kilometres away. Here you can find wonderful shopping opportunities, tempting restaurants and of course the renowned nightlife scene. Local buses run to the town from just outside the hotel, and during the evening the hotel runs a complimentary shuttle bus.
The resort boasts a wonderful main pool overlooking the beach, often known as the Shirley Valentine Beach (after the movie), which does not host any watersport activity so as to retain the peaceful and relaxing environment. Instead you can enjoy the feeling of the warm sand between your toes, relaxing on the comfortable sun loungers and bathing in the refreshing turquoise sea.
There are two main restaurants at the hotel: Dolphins of Delos and Aqua E sole. The former is more of a formal affair whilst the latter is more casual thanks to its poolside location. There is also a selection of bars serving refreshing cocktails and light bites.
Rooms and suites at the hotel are in-keeping with the fresh feel of the rest of the hotel. There is a large range of options to choose from. You could opt for one of the charming garden view rooms or even a suite with a private pool.
Mykonos Grand provides a range of rooms and suites to guests. Some of the suites have fabulous private pools but all rooms and suites come with either a terrace or balcony offering garden or sea views. The rooms are spacious and modern, with either a twin or king-size bed. They are beautifully decorated in fresh white colours in keeping with the harmonious feel of the hotel.
Children under 12 are not permitted in certain room categories from 1st - 24th August.
Mykonos Grand has two main restaurants. Dolphins of Delos is the hotel's gourmet restaurant with a fantastic al fresco setting and panoramic sea views. The menu is mostly Greek focused with the ingredients sourced from the hotel's own garden and other producers throughout the country. Aqua E Sole is a slightly more informal affair with its poolside location and its menu of light meals to include salads and seafood.
The Althea Spa Centre is a haven for relaxation and a bit of self-indulgent pampering. The professional therapists use all natural ingredients and treatments derived from Greek Mythology to make you feel at your best. Tailor made day packages can be arranged for the ultimate luxurious experience.
During your stay at Mykonos GRand you can enjoy relaxing by the pool and soaking in the breath-taking Aegean views. The pool is surrounded by shady cabanas and sun beds. The Shirley Valentine beach offers complimentary sun loungers and umbrellas for the exclusive use of guests. During the evening a film screen is often erected and a selection of well known films are shown - a very pleasant way to watch a film or just while away an hour or so.
With the town of Mykonos so close and easily accessible you can spend some time here. Browse the shops, eat at the restaurants and dance the night away at one of the many bars or clubs.

One of the best things about this hotel is its service. I recently stayed here myself and could not fault the staff in any way. They are incredibly helpful and proactive to all guests without feeling overly fussy. The rooms are lovely and spacious with everything you could need for your stay. It's just a two-minute walk from the Shirley Valentine beach where the hotel has its own private sun loungers, this makes the perfect place to spend a few days in Mykonos.

Mykonos Grand is perfect for anyone looking for a luxurious retreat away from the busiest parts of the island but still within easy reach of Mykonos Town. The hotels shuttle will run you there in about 20 minutes so perfect for heading in for evening drinks and dinner. The hotel itself has the most amazing views out onto the Aegean with the island of Delos sat directly on the horizon. From the main pool the views are simply amazing and you can then walk down to a small sandy beach area which is quite rare for the Mykonos hotels. Walking along the beach you also have a couple of local restaurants for lunch or dinner which is great for a longer stay as you are not confirmed to the hotel or having to schlep into town. The hotel has a more relaxed and traditional feel to some of the more glitzy hotels on the island and youre less likely to bump into the super yacht crowd which is always a bonus!

Mykonos Grand is a great place to stay while on the island - the private beach area is ideal for relaxing, while the delights of Mykonos Town are a short drive away in the hotel's complimentary shuttle. The rooms are comfortable and spacious (the smallest is 33 sqm) and many offer beautiful sea views, so your private balcony is the perfect place for an evening drink as the sun sets across the water.

The hotel has more of a resort feel to it with a big pool area and excellent facilities including a tennis court and private beach. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and there is plenty of room for everyone so you don't have to fight for a sunbed!
Rooms are spacious and well appointed, sea views are lovely and the sea is just incredible.
