On arrival in Vancouver, a private car will whisk you from the airport to downtown where you will be welcomed by magnificent views of the North Shore Mountains from your room at the chic Fairmont Pacific Rim. This elegant hotel offers luxurious accommodations overlooking the famous Vancouver Harbour, close to shopping, restaurants and the lively downtown area.
During your stay, we recommend visiting the Fly over Canada show at the IMAX for a thrilling 3D experience and dining in one of the many amazing restaurants. Embark on a leisurely bike tour of the picturesque Stanley Park, cycling along rugged forest trails past striking totem poles and the beautiful waterfront and gain an insight into Vancouver’s history and culture. The following day, enjoy a foodie tour of Granville Island market, the heart of this vibrant city, spilling over with delicious goods from artisan cheeses to innovative sweets which are guaranteed to get you salivating.
Head back to the harbor where a float plane will be waiting to fly you directly to Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, soaring over the breath-taking beauty of the Clayoquot Sound. This luxurious tented lodge is equipped with every conceivable luxury – power showers, under floor heating in the bathrooms and thermostatically controlled log burner fires, complimented by antiques and plenty of personal touches. Comfortable beds are a welcome retreat after days out whale, bear and bald eagle watching, walks and picnic lunches on deserted beaches, kayaking, hiking, zip-lining and mountain biking. Hot tubs and massage tents await after afternoons spent at the archery range, shooting clay pigeons or horse-riding through the stunning scenery.
For those who wish to push the boundaries of luxury that one step further, take a helicopter up to the magical Cloud Camp perched thousands of feet above Clayoquot Wilderness Resort. Here with your own personal butler, chef and aesthetician, you and your family can spend a night in the true wilderness but surrounded by all the marvelous luxury that symbolises Clayoquot.
After four nights at Clayoquot, a second float plane will take you to Whistler. Soar above dramatic peaks and emerald pine forests to reach your private Residence at the Four Seasons. Although famed for its world-class skiing, once the snow melts away the landscape is dotted with exhilarating biking trails and is ripe for exploring in the summer months. Take to the water and battle against white-water rapids and descend the slopes by mountain bike, an invigorating way to soak in the spectacular scenery. For a more gentle approach, reach giddy heights with the Peak 2 Peak gondola which runs between Whistler and the Blackcomb mountains and affords incredible 360-degree views. This can easily be combined with a hike to the summit of Little Whistler for those who need a little more adventure!
After a final four nights here your Canada adventure comes to an end and you will be transferred privately to Vancouver Airport (approx. 2.5 hours) ready for your flight back home.

When to go
BC’s varied climate is influenced by latitude, elevation and ocean proximity but it’s generally warmer in the south and cooler in the north. Winters are mild in Vancouver and Victoria, with only brief snowfalls, while other regions – especially the north and the interior – are subject to freezing temperatures and heavy snow from November to March.
Spring and fall are often warm and pleasant but rainfall can be heavy, particularly on the coast. Summers (June to September) are mostly dry and sunny with warm temperatures, but the interior is hot in July and August, with temperatures surpassing 30°C
