Description
Only accessible during the summer months, Moraine Lake Lodge is hidden away on the edge of this breathtaking clear blue lake. An oasis of calm and tranquility, the lodge is a perfect base for taking in all the excitement of the Rocky Mountains.
Whether you are heading to Moraine Lake to take in the view from a canoe or walking trail, to celebrate a special anniversary or event or simply to get away from it all for a few days, the stunning location and the inviting welcome will warm your heart and put you immediately at ease.
Moraine Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Canada and the lodge is tucked away making the most of this prime position. The lodge's architecture embraces the dramatic beauty of Banff National Park and its environmentally friendly nature makes it almost self sufficient as well.
The food is all part of the experience at Moraine Lake, with one of the top gourmet restaurants in the National Park showcasing some of the best local cuisine, which makes dinner here a real treat. All guests are also tempted by the daily afternoon tea in the lodge library, a wonderful opportunity to chat with other guests and enthuse about the days activities.
The accommodation at the lodge is in keeping with the lodge style with warmth and comfort of prime concern. The new cabins offer wood burning fires with plenty of wood and wonderful lake views, whereas the lodge rooms are more simply styled but still offer all the creature comforts for a good nights rest.
There is no TV or telephone in any of the rooms, to stay in keeping with the lodge's calm experience.
Accommodation
Moraine Lake Lodge has a choice of new Deluxe King and Queen Cabins or Main Lodge Rooms.
Cabins and rooms in the Wenkchemna Wing offer a river rock fireplace and cabins also offer a seating area with panoramic lake views.
All rooms offer hand crafted log furniture, luxurious down duvets, fine Wool rich blankets and pillows plus beautifully appointed bathrooms with soaker tubs.
Please note that there are no TVs or telephones in the rooms, however, WiFi is available throughout the lodge.
Childcare
Children over the age of 8 years are welcomed at the lodge and interconnecting rooms are available. Children under 8 years can stay in the cabins if accompanied by an adult.

Complimentary afternoon tea each day, complimentary lodge hiking guides for residents, on site naturalist.
Facilities
Moraine Lake Lodge has a Restaurant serving Breakfast and Dinner, a library, board games for guest use, WiFi available throughout and canoes for guest use from the dock.
Activities
There is an abundance of activities available from Moraine Lake Lodge. Trail walks and hikes for all levels are available from the lodge, from 20 minute lakeside strolls through to 7 mile breathtaking valley circuits. Canoeing is available on the lake.
Horse riding, golf, fishing, river rafting and helicopter tours are all available locally.

This Lodge has the most beautiful setting on the lake that you certainly wont forget in a hurry! The charming cabins are cosy and the rustic alpine style is in keeping with the stunning Canadian Rocky surroundings. All cabins offer views of the sparkling turquoise waters of Moraine Lake which you can enjoy from your private balcony or floor to ceiling windows. This lodge also makes a great base for exploring nearby Lake Louise.
