A true retreat, Vana is the perfect escape for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern day living and focus on the rejuvenation and development of mind, body and soul.
At Vana, their wellness experts aim to create a tailored wellness program for every guest. They use information shared before arrival and during the arrival consultation to determine the objectives guests wish to work on. By taking from our vast offering of treatments, consultations and activities, Vana's experts create a daily program that works towards achieving these objectives.
With a state-of-the-art 1,500 sq foot gymnasium fitted with the latest equipment including two pools and tennis courts, the fitness offering will include private training, stretching and advice from a training nutritionist. Vana intend to relate fitness to movement and thus address flexibility and agility, as well as overall physical health, weight, muscular and cardiovascular strength. The steam, sauna and infra-red sauna provide much needed benefit before and after fitness sessions.
The living spaces bring together various elements of the design philosophy: contemporary aesthetics, and natural materials, comfort, natural lighting and simplicity. The 66 rooms and 16 suites on the estate are surrounded by ancient forest or gardens and fruit orchards, all with balconies or terraces.

When to go
Dehradun has a continental climate throughout the year, but the weather is pleasant as Dehradun is located at the foothills providing a cool breeze. Summers (March to June) have an average temperature of 35°C. Winters during November to February give a pleasant weather with a temperature range of 19°C to 33°C. Monsoons offer average rainfalls during July to September.
Basant Panchami, the spring festival, is celebrated with much gaiety and enjoyment during February-March. Holi is an important religious festival with much colors and illuminations, celebrated during same period. Rafting season is from mid September to April. Dehradun can be visited all through the year, but avoid the May month when the temperature reaches maximum.
