Leckhampton 7 is a beautifully designed apartment owned by Cape View Clifton, one of Cape Town's top guesthouses. The apartment is linked to the guesthouse by a bridge, essentially giving visitors staying here the best of both worlds: the privacy offered by the vast indoor living space and expansive decks, combined with all the service and support of the quality team at Cape View.
No expense has been spared at Leckhampton, beautifully designed, open-planned living spaces run the length of the building. At no point are you hidden from the remarkable views. During the summer months, the apartment transforms into the epitome of outdoor city living with walls of glass opening onto the private decks. A private pool, sun loungers, outdoor dining area and covered outdoor lounge are all carefully crafted to maximize the guest experience. In the winter, pull the doors closed and build up the fire, for a cosy sanctuary with windows swept by the storms rolling off the southern ocean. It doesn't get much more dramatic!
This is the most impressive one-bedroom apartment we know of in the city. An unbeatable location above Clifton, with views down to Camps Bay and along the Twelve Apostles mountains which will blow you away. The master bedroom features a sliding glass wall which gives you access directly to your private deck. This apartment is finished to the highest possible standards.
The apartment is fully serviced by neighboring Cape View Clifton. So you benefit from all the privacy of your own apartment but want for none of the comforts offered by a guesthouse. Leckhampton 7 is linked by a bridge to the main property, here you will find a larger pool and expansive deck. Inside there's an honesty bar with a delicious selection of South African wines, snacks, and in the evenings a selection of seasonal meals if you prefer not to head out into town.
Cape View do not offer a transfer service, however, a taxi is never far away and can quickly be summoned to your door. If you choose to have a car while you stay in the Cape, there are off-street, secure parking spaces along the back of the building.
Leckhampton 7 is in a perfect location to make the most of your stay in Cape Town. Lion's Head rises up behind the building, providing the geographical separation between the Clifton and Camp's Bay areas, and the City Bowl which runs along the foot of Table Mountain. You're 5-minutes from the base of the Table Mountain cable car, 5-minutes from Camps Bay with its bars, restaurants and beach. In the other direction, it's no more than 10-minutes to the V&A Waterfront, or the vibrant areas of Kloof and Long Street.
For more specific activities, either in the city or further afield, you always have the full support of the concierge at Cape View Clifton. We have always experienced faultless feedback about the quality of the tour guides and drivers used by Cape View.
