Ethical vacations

We wholeheartedly believe that when you travel, you should travel with knowledge of the impact you are making on the world around you. There are countless pioneers of sustainable tourism who we work with closely, from out of the way eco-camps supporting local communities to luxury hotels who have invented new ways to minimize their carbon footprint.

Being ethical doesn’t mean you have to forfeit your comforts; there are countless places blending luxury and sustainability in equal measure. We are proud that we feature a number of properties in our portfolio that consciously make an effort to preserve a low carbon footprint, yet still offering guests a wonderful place to stay. Others embrace their habitats by fitting in with the wildlife rather than overcoming it, and supporting local communities so that tourism has a hugely positive effect on the destination you are visiting.

You could find yourselves in an eco-lodge in the Blue Mountains, a rustic hideaway in the Himalayas, or a tented camp in Botswana, content in the knowledge that you’re staying somewhere that does its best to minimize its impact on the environment and local communities.
