The climate in Greece is warm and sunny for the majority of the year, however the island properties are only open from May to October. In May, the islands come to life and weather usually settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings, especially in July and August when it can be very hot. Rain is unlikely but it can happen from time to time. May, June and September are particularly pleasurable months with July and August being especially popular on the islands.

Itinerary

Fly to Athens
Day 1-3

Athens, Greece

Start your journey through Greece in Athens, the ancient capital. Here you’ll spend two nights and have the chance to get under the skin of this iconic city, from the contemporary architecture and stylish boutiques to the traditional bakeries and historic landmarks. With your private guide, explore the ancient Acropolis and learn about the history of Greece’s most famous monument, still today a symbol of democracy. Your guide will teach you about the legends of ancient Greek mythology as you admire the Parthenon and the Temple of Athena Nike, before you admire the collection in the Acropolis Museum. Spend the rest of your time in the city exploring the charming neighborhoods of Athens such as Plaka, each with their own unique character.

Accommodation: The Dolli at Acropolis ( 2 nights )
Day 3-6

Milos, Greece

Next, it’s time to head to the Cyclades, where your first stop will be the enchanting island of Milos. You’ll spend three nights on this breath-taking island which really packs a punch, boasting otherworldly landscapes, gorgeous beaches and a fascinating history going back thousands of years. Discover the very best of Milos with your private guide, from the remains of an ancient Neolithic city to the lunar-like white stone and stunning blue waters at Sarakiniko bay. After exploring the highlights of the island, enjoy a private boat trip around Milos's incredible coastline to the white cliffs of Kleftiko. Admire the spectacular white rocks and jump in the crystal-clear waters, where you'll snorkel through caves which are inaccessible by boat.

Accommodation: Domes White Coast ( 3 nights )
Day 6-8

Sifnos, Greece

Your next stop will be Sifnos, one of the most authentic islands in the Cyclades. Only accessible by ferry, this almost ethereal island is home to spectacular scenery and incredible views across the Aegean from its many vantage points. Traditional whitewashed villages are dotted across the landscape and, thanks to its rich local produce, Sifnos’s culinary offering is second-to-none. You’ll spend two nights in a boutique property overlooking the rugged east coast, where you’ll have the opportunity to unwind in the peace and quiet and really get away from it all. Join your private guide to explore some of the island’s charming villages, such as Kastro and Artemonas, and enjoy getting lost in the winding maze of streets and learning about daily life on Sifnos, where ancient traditions are still kept alive to this day.

Accommodation: NOS Hotel & Villas ( 2 nights )
Day 8-11

Santorini, Greece

The final stop on your Greek honeymoon is Santorini, the most famous island of the Cyclades, known for its romance and charm. This iconic island is renowned the world over for its picturesque villages, its stunning views across the caldera and the breath-taking sunsets across the island and the Aegean Sea. Here you’ll spend the final three nights of your journey, giving you ample time to admire the spectacular vistas. Spend time exploring the enchanting town of Oia, perched on the clifftop in the north of Santorini, and soaking up the scenery from your luxurious hotel. For a truly special way to end your trip, discover the beauty of the caldera from a private catamaran. Your skipper will take you to the caldera’s hot springs, where you’ll be able to stop for a swim before relaxing on board and enjoying incredible displays of nature as the sun sets over Santorini.
