The coastal province of Fujian experiences some of the heaviest rainfall in China, with the typhoon season falling in the month of August when temperatures and humidity are also at their peak. Yue Wuyi Tea Life Aesthetics Jinjiang Hotel is the world's first "tea culture" hotel designed by Beijing Wuxiang Space Architecture Design Studio.
Occupying nearly 15 acres, a key area is its expansive garden which occupies more than 7,000 sqm. There are 6 main buildings facing the Mount Wuyi, each of which are three stories high.
Each of the 126 rooms are beautifully designed in boutique contemporary style with sleek interiors making use of natural colours and local elements.
Yue Xi Tea Restaurant serves buffet meals with authentic ingredients and large varieties of tea selections. Yue Yue Shi Yin serves predominantly Chinese food with unique ingredients such as bamboo shoots, mushrooms and fishes.
Tea culture permeates through the hotel with oriental aesthetics such as the Yue Tea Garden and Art Gallery.
