Head to the top floor of the St Regis Mexico City to the dizzying heights of the hotel's helipad where you will board your private helicopter, swooping south to the state of Morelos as you soak in the views. The beautiful archaeological site of Xochicalco will come into view as you enjoy the bird's eye perspective of these impressive ruins, landing at the Cuernavaca airport a short 20-minute drive away.

Appearing on Mexico's list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Xochicalco forms the outline of an ancient urban city, comprising 3 ball courts, an acropolis and an observatory. Enjoy a privately guided tour of the site before returning to your helicopter. From here you will be flown to Hacienda San Gabriel de las Palmas, built in 1529 at the order of famous conquistador Hernán Cortés. Landing at the hacienda, you will have the afternoon to explore the beautiful grounds by horseback, happening upon a specially prepared picnic on the picturesque shores of a lake.

Following a relaxing afternoon, return by helicopter to the St Regis from where you can soak in spectacular panoramic views over the vast metropolis of Mexico City.
