Ellerman Villa Two is the latest addition to Ellerman House's portfolio and is situated just behind and above Ellerman Villa One with breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean and on a clear day all the way to Robben Island. The main area is a large open plan living room complete with an ultra modern kitchen at the back. The floor to ceiling doors and windows lead out onto a spacious veranda with a glass-sided infinity pool looking out towards the Atlantic Ocean. There is also a private cinema room in the villa, perfect for hiding away in on a rainy day.
At the villa you will have your own personal chef and a dedicated hospitality team. The concierge team know all of the top restaurants, bars and activities and can make any suggestions and reservations. The villa also has its own private entrance with secure parking should guests be driving.
Set below the villa on the ground floor and basement is the cutting edge wine cellar with over 7,500 bottles of wine and a Dom Perignon champagne cellar. World renowned designer Brian Steinhobel designed the three-dimensional corkscrew style wine rack which can hold 1,500 bottles of wine. Wine tasting come be done in the cellar itself and there is also a dining table on the ground floor where guests can enjoy a food and wine pairing meal.
Ellerman Villa Two is a glamorous, cutting edge addition to the Ellerman family and designed for the luxury traveler in search of a private villa experience.
The three bedrooms are situated on the middle floor and are named according to their geographical orientation within the villa; Sea Point, Clifton and Bantry Bay. Each room is very spacious with a huge en suite bathroom and private veranda. All of the bedrooms are of a very similar standard and as a result there isn't really any 'master' bedroom and this makes it ideal for groups of friends.
Children of all ages are welcome at Ellerman Villa Two. We would recommend bringing a nanny for very young children as the house hasn't been designed with young children in mind and there are areas where they will require supervision.
Private parking leads to the Villa Two entrance which opens out into a sleek and spacious open-plan living area. The state of the art kitchen has been designed for a more interactive cooking experience and is open-plan as well but can be closed off for a more private dining experience. The fold away glass doors open out to the large terrace and there are indoor and outdoor dining areas and the glass sided infinity pool overlook the Clifton beaches.
Ellerman Villa Two has the scope of Cape Town on its doorstep and the experienced Concierge Service at the hotel is a fantastic aid in deciding which of the many activities and excursions to enjoy. From the beaches with water sports options, to golf or hiking up Table mountain, museums, top restaurants and the winelands to explore - there will be something for all guests to enjoy.
