Kayak and Snorkel Kealakekua Bay

Big Island, Hawaii, United States of America

Join a guided kayak tour across beautiful Kealakekua Bay then snorkel Captain Cook monument where you will see abundant fish life as well as potentially dolphins, green sea turtles and even humpback whales.

Only three companies are allowed to snorkel and kayak in this particular area in order to protect the delicate eco system and marine life here. Join one of them for a fun and remarkable snorkelling experience in one of the best parts of the island for marine life.

Walk the path of famous circumnavigator & explorer James Cook and visit the site of the historic Ka`awaloa village and Hawaiian Royalty. The water is warm, clear and abundant with fish, coral reefs and regularly, Hawaiian spinner dolphins too. Your guide will take you to the best spots and no experience is necessary in order to get in the water and enjoy the show!

Wide, stable open-deck kayaks are used and each kayak includes a small bag that accommodates guests' snorkel gear and a small towel or hat. Drinks and snacks are provided. We do not touch or engage the Dolphins in the water and ensure that we do not disturb their fragile ecosystem.

Please note: Pre-booking these tours is essential as they sell out well in advance due to the restricted amount of kayaks allowed in the area.
