The best time of year to visit Halong Bay is during the spring or autumn. Because the bay is situated in the northern part of the country, it can get colder in the winter. The rainy season here is at its peak in July to September. July is the hottest month, January the coolest. The dry season runs from November to April.
Bhaya Legend is the jewel in the Bhaya fleet’s crown, this private-hire boat cruises around Halong and Lan Ha bay on bespoke routes with no fixed itinerary. Bhaya Legend consists of seven individual 1,2,3 and 4 cabin boats, to suit groups of all sizes.
The cabins on Bhaya Legend are spacious and luxuriously decorated with rich colours and fabrics that perfectly recall the opulence of the orient. Each cabin can accommodate up to two adults and one child under the age of 12 and boasts a spacious en-suite with shower and freestanding bathtub. A private balcony is the perfect place to relax and take in the views.
Children are welcome on board the Bhaya boats. As the itinerary is so bespoke they are great for families as you can tailor-in specific child friendly activities. However, parents are responsible for their children at all times. Babysitters can be arranged with prior notice if parents would like some time out and each cabin can accommodate one child under the age of 12. Please Note: Interconnecting cabins are not available on Bhaya Legend.
All your meals are included during your stay and menus will be created to your exact specifications. Dietary requirements can easily be catered for, and you can choose to eat meals when you like, and where you like. A lunchtime picnic in the jungle or breakfast on deck, the choice is yours.
