Set in steeply sloping gardens and with an almost secret garden style entrance, Hog Hollow is a real treat for those staying for a few days. Its a friendly place, with a large dining room where meals are all taken communally, and a huge outside deck which really takes advantage of the incredible views over the Tsitsikamma forest. The rooms are lovely, spacious and charming and warmly decorated although we were warned that doors had to be shut to keep the monkeys from invading and stealing the popcorn! The best spot must be around the pool a fabulous size, perfect for laps, surrounded by shade loungers the perfect place to while away the day and a real suntrap! Its a perfect spot for families and a great place to break your journey along the Garden Route also on offer is horseriding on fabulous horses, and the Tsitsikamma forest must be one of the best places in South Africa to explore on horseback! Lovely spot and a firm favorite of ours.
