Fairview House and Cottage is a mere 10-minute drive from the whale watching at Keurbooms beach, and also just 10-minutes from Plettenberg Bay, with its gorgeous Robberg Peninsular and spectacular golf courses. Within 15 minutes of Nature’s Valley are the Kurland and Bitou Polo fields, which make for a great afternoon excursion.
Fairview is an ideal springboard for all the fantastic attractions along this famous coastline, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Rooms are classically furnished in a country cottage style and the spacious garden and lovely swimming pool, hidden within the fynbos is a haven for families.
Fairview House has three bedrooms, downstairs is the master bedroom with en-suite bath and shower, opening onto a private veranda. Upstairs is the family suite, consisting of two bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The kitchen forms part of an open plan sitting room with fireplace, and the deep covered veranda leading off the formal sitting room has a spectacular view across the mountain ranges. Across the garden from Fairview House is Fairview Cottage. This cottage has a spacious living area, three bedrooms, one en-suite bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs, one being en-suite.
Fairview is available on a bed and breakfast basis, and it is possible to have exclusive use of the entire property for the ultimate intimate hideaway.

Children of all ages are welcome to stay at Fairview. The accommodation is well suited to families who want to be near each other and there is ample garden space for children to play in.
A scrumptious Breakfast is served to guests daily. There is also a secluded swimming pool which is a lovely place to relax in, amidst the beautiful scenery. Guests can embark on walking trails and also a spot of bird watching.
If you take the house or cottage at Fairview on an exclusive-use basis, the rooms are made up upon arrival and the house is serviced daily. The management are happy to help with any activities and bookings, and can stock the fridge before arrival.

Fairview is situated on the outskirts of Plettenberg Bay near Nature’s Valley. The pristine unspoiled beaches of Nature’s Valley, and the incredible indigenous forest of Tsitsikamma are breath taking.
When to go
Garden Route enjoys a moderate climate all year round. In peak summer season, from December to February, temperatures can climb as high as 34ºC, although winter temperatures can drop to as low as 4ºC. Generally, this season has many sunny days with high wind at times. During the winter months of June, July, and August, expect frequent rains and a couple of chilly evenings. From June to December, the Southern Right Whale (Eubalaena australis) graces Walker Bay with its massive presence.
