Youli Castle Ruin

Today, we will visit the Youli Castle Ruin, a former imprisonment site where the King Wen of Zhou was held.
Located in Tangyin county, the Youli Castle Ruins is the first national prison in Chinese history. Towards the end of the Shang Dynasty, the 82-year-old King Wen of Zhou was imprisoned in Youli for seven years. King Wen of Zhou is known for his famous works such as the "Classic of Poetry" hymns, as well as his achievement is stacking the Fuxi Eight Diagram into the 64 I Ching hexagrams.
