Best Time to Visit Netherlands
When is the best time to visit The Netherlands? Anytime as this country is a true year-round destination, with mild temperatures for much of the year and several winter-time attractions in the colder months. April is a peak month for visitors to see the tulip festivals and flower gardens.
The summer weather in the Netherlands is pleasantly warm and from June to August has temperatures averaging 22 - 30C. During the winter months (December to February) it is much colder and often only has highs of 4C, however due to how built up some of the city is, it can seem warmer. Things are quieter and less costly in the winter months, though there is a spike in visitors during the Christmas market season and February’s Carnival.
