Highlights
Borgo Santo Pietro is in Tuscany, near Siena surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside. This stunning 220-acre estate centres around an 800-year-old villa turned boutique hotel.
With just 20 spacious rooms each decorated uniquely, there is a real focus on personalised service. We recommend the garden suites perfect for ultimate seclusion with their own private pools.
There are two wonderful restaurants, the Michelin-starred Meo Modo, with views of the Tuscan valley or the brasserie by the swimming pool. Expect the best of Tuscan cuisine, produce is sourced straight from the hotels own farm and gardens.
The holistic spa is not to be missed offering healing relaxing treatments as well as their own skincare range, Seed to Skin. It is created in their onsite laboratory blended by hand using herbs from the estate gardens.
Located in the heart of Tuscany, Borgo Santo Pietro is just 30-minutes from the centre of Siena and just over a 1-hour drive from Florence. This stunning 13th century villa estate was painstakingly and lovingly restored into a beautiful and luxurious boutique hotel.
Surrounded by 13 acres of gardens this hotel really offers seclusion and relaxation in the most enchanting setting. The rooms are spread between the main Villa and a separate building housing the Garden Suites just a 2-minute walk away. The interiors are in-keeping with the origins of the building, walls are adorned by paintings and tapestries and beautiful antique pieces can be found in rooms and the public areas.
This hotel is a wonderful retreat open from March to the end of October, and with large open fireplaces the main villa is a cosy and romantic retreat when the weather is cooler. In the summer months, guests can cool off in the hotel's large infinity pools which overlook the surrounding countryside. Those looking for relaxation can indulge in treatments in the hotel's spa and those after more action can enjoy the hotel's facilities which include tennis and badminton court. Croquet, archery, yoga and bicycles are all available to guests.
When to visit
The hotel holds movie nights every Thursday in the gardens, this is super romantic, relax with a blanket and a glass of Prosecco and enjoy a good Italian classic.
