Wind and Kite Surfing


The Jericoacoara region of Northeast Brazil is one of the top spots in the world for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Windsurfing in the warm and pristine waters of Jericoacoara National Park is an exhilarating experience for everyone no matter if it’s your first time or you’ve been time and time again. With perfect winds nearly all year round, we can arrange an adrenaline-fueled lesson with a pro, including equipment rental.


Mauritius has quickly gained a reputation as a world-class location for kitesurfing. The island features over 300 days of wind a year and an enviable variety of beaches, making it the ideal spot for kitesurfers of all abilities. For more experienced kitesurfers, La Morne in the south west offers the “one-eye” reef, while the east coast beaches like Belle Mare offer calmer waters perfect for beginners. Some of our favorite kitesurfing schools are located at the Heritage Le Telfair Golf and Spa Resort, the St. Regis and the One&Only Le Saint Geran. They all have excellent instructors, who know the best spots on the island.


Kitesurfing has been gaining in popularity over the years, and one of the best places to learn the sport is at Zanzibar Kite Paradise. Located on an incredible stretch of beach, the lessons can accommodate any skill level and group as well as private lessons are available. Once you’ve tested the kitesurfing waters, Zanzibar Kite Paradise also offers windsurfing, kayaking, blo-karting and stand up paddleboarding. There is a good house reef which is also home to a Blue Hole, which provides an exciting experience for both snorkelling and diving. At the heart of the Biosphere is Hanifaru Bay, only a short boat ride from Amilla Fushi. In the summer months in particular, the high concentration of plankton attracts large groups of manta rays and even whale sharks. For diving enthusiasts, stay in an Ocean Reef House, which are positioned right on the edge of the reef with direct access to the ocean.

Azura Benguerra - Mozambique

Azura Benguerra is a luxurious beach lodge situated on the unspoiled island of Benguerra in southern Mozambique. It lies within a National Park surrounded by deserted beaches of pure white sand and sparkling turquoise seas. Many of the activities here are focused around the ocean. Kayaks and paddle boards are available for all guests as well as snorkeling equipment. There are many magnificent reefs which provide a home to the turtles that nest on the island's outer shores.
