Discover the lesser-known highlights, starting from Shuzenji Temple, onwards for a hiking trip along the Jogasaki Coast and ending at Mount Omuro before transferring back to your hotel.
Shuzenji Temple dates back to the 9th century and it was founded by Kobo Daishi. It is believed to be the scene of tragedies in the Minamoto family where they met their end.
Afterwards, we continue to the Izu Peninsula where you will hike along the picturesque Jogasaki Coast with its jagged cliffs and stone formations.
Next, we discover the extinct volcano of Mount Omuro which measures 580 metres high with a large crater which is approximately 300 metres in its diametre!
