Description
This stunning boutique design hotel is located in Berlin’s diplomatic quarter and is housed in a building which used to be the Danish Embassy. The hotel offers guests generously sized rooms, Michelin starred dining and impeccable service.
Situated in the diplomatic district, the Das Stue hotel offers a good, central location, just next to the lush Tiergarten park and adjacent to the Zoo - it even has its own direct access. The main areas for sightseeing, shopping, art & entertainment are all within easy reach.
A member of the Design Hotels group, Das Stue mixes period charm with modern twists and playful touches. Each of the 78 rooms and suites is thoughtfully and artfully designed, and many of the rooms offer pleasant views over the adjacent Tiergarten as well as luxurious free standing bathtubs.
The hotel has an Iberian as well as German feel as the rooms were designed by renowned Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola and the award-wining chef, Paco Perez, is Catalan.
The grand lobby, displaying some fascinating contemporary artworks and built around the ex-embassy's beautifully renovated staircases leads through to the hotel’s comfortable lounge, trendy bar, award-winning restaurants and garden terrace.
