Drive along the Gurbantunggut Desert into Urho Ghost City, where geological erosion has carved castles and temples out of the landscape.
When the wind blows through, the rough stones and hummocks magnify the sound which creates an eerie moan across the ghost city. This mysterious site consists or various weirdly shaped landscapes created by strong wind and erosion. Being one of the few typical wind erosion physiognomies in the world, it is renowned for its howling wind and unique structures.
It is known as Ghost Town as people wanted to escape from the strong wind which caused people to not open their eyes and it produced an impressive sound that is scary.
