Travel to Jiayuguan Fort, the western end of the Great Wall of China. Known as the "Mouth of China" due to its position, you will also visit the Overhanging Great Wall, a rebuilt section which offers a bird's eye view of the endless Gobi desert as well as the snowcapped peaks in the distance. Proceed to the Wei Jin Tombs, located around 15km away from Jiayuguan town. With 1,400 tombs built between 3rd and 5th century, some of the tombs have interesting paintings and murals in them.
