The typical Mediterranean climate of Provence and the Cote d'Azur has long drawn visitors here. Late Spring brings warm temperatures that can reach nearly 30C by July. Sunshine is abundant, with nearly 12 hours a day in mid-summer. The mistral wind can bring a cooler wind in early Spring, but this part of the Riviera is more protected. July is the driest month, and rain showers tend to be infrequent.

A beautifully renovated luxurious Provencal villa with infinity pool near Opio, La Maison Blanche sits on a hilltop with views across the Mediterranean. With a villa manager and choice of private chef and nanny. Sleeps 18.
La Maison Blanche is a beautiful villa located in a smart residential area just outside Opio, a small Provencal village in the heart of the beautiful, hilly region above Cannes, also known as the "Tuscany of the South of France “. It is an ideal location for immersing yourself in the charming Provencal life or to get a taste of the glamour along the Côte d'Azur.
This recently renovated villa is located on the top of a hill with glorious views over the magnificent landscape of the French Riviera. On clear days the mountains of Italy towards St Jean Cap Ferrat, the Bay of Nice, Cap d'Antibes and the Esterel mountains can all be enjoyed from the many terraces.
The garden is typically Provencal with olive trees, fragrant lavender along with more tropical plants and palm trees nestled in amongst the greenery including lawned areas and a boules pitch. The focal point of the property is the infinity swimming pool which has sunbathing decks either side, offering the perfect refreshment during the hot summer months.
All nine bedrooms and bathrooms have been individually styled and beautifully appointed predominantly in a mix of beige, taupe and creams. They are all very comfortable with a touch of traditional Provencal charm. Exposed brick work and traditionally coloured paintwork mix well with the modern touches. There are four bedrooms on the first floor, two master double bedrooms at either end of the house and two twin rooms in the middle. All four rooms have access onto the first floor terrace overlooking the pool and gardens below. In addition there are three bedrooms located on the ground floor. Two of these, a double and twin, are adjacent rooms and off the living room and have private terraces. There is also a further double bedroom off the hallway. The last two en-suite bedrooms are located on the lower ground floor, near the playroom.
The large open plan living area is on a split level with glorious views out through large full height oval windows/doors looking out onto the outside terrace and pool below. The kitchen is tucked away at the far end of the living area and has doors out onto the covered dining terrace. Below the pool is a BBQ terrace/kids outdoor dining area.
The children’s playroom is located on the lower floor with doors out onto the garden and kids outdoor dining terrace. Children will love discovering all the toys, games and activities available at the villa. Our nanny will make sure that your children are well looked after with creative, entertaining and progressive play, whilst you enjoy your well-earned break. Families like the fact that the playroom is completely separate from the pool and general areas for relaxation so parents can be as involved as much or as little as they like.
This is a fantastic villa for a family or group of friends to either relax or be as active as you like surrounded by beautiful scenery and plenty of things to do nearby. As the swimming pool is located close to the villa, it is an ideal choice for families as you can keep an eye on all of the activities from the comfort of your sun lounger.
All nine bedrooms are comfortably and individually furnished in neutral colours with stone or wooden floors and all have bath or shower rooms en suite. The first floor rooms all have doors out on to the first floor terrace which enjoys panoramic views over the French Riviera and the surrounding hills from the windows and balconies. The master bedroom has a large walk in wardrobe a lovely large bathroom with bath and a separate shower. Also on the first floor are bedrooms two and three which are twins, both with a shower, basin and WC and bedroom four which is a double with an en-suite shower and stairs to a mezzanine above. On the ground floor next to the living area is a double and twin room, rooms five and six, both with an en-suite shower room and doors outside on to the terraces. There is also a pretty double bedroom off the hallway which has an en suite shower room and doors to the side of the house where there is a covered dining terrace. Rooms eight and nine are located on the lower ground floor, the double has external access only, whilst the twin can only be accessed via the playroom. All bedrooms, except one of the upstairs twin rooms have air-conditioning.

There is so much to see and do in this beautiful part of the Cote d'Azur. The market towns of Opio and Valbonne are nearby, the latter of which has a superb market on Fridays, selling a mix of lovely Provencal wares, local cheeses, wines, olives plus a huge amount of stalls selling souvenirs. The historical and picture postcard villages of Gourdon, Tourettes-sur-Loup and St Paul de Vence can be reached by car in 20-40 minutes or the larger town of Vence, has a great selection of shops and restaurants too.
Further a field, Antibes and the beaches of Cagnes sur Mer and Cannes make for a great day of exploration or further inland, Grasse is lovely to explore and is the ideal opportunity to visit the renowned fragrance houses of Molinards and Fragonards. If you're prepared to venture further, the spectacular Gorges Du Vendon can be reached in an hour and half and provides stunning scenery and boasts the deepest gauges in Europe!

Slade Family - July 2018 (Guest)
Scott Dunn offers something no one else offers, the childcare, chef and host! Its very efficient with lovely villas.
The nannies were incredibly patient and worked hard to keep the children entertained.
Burroughs Family - July 2018 (Guest)
One of our party is pregnant and the team went the extra mile to ensure that her needs were met. We also had a demanding guest whose narrow food tastes were expertly attended to. Many thanks to Harry and TJ particularly. Hannah and Alice were superb in all respects. Hannah dealing with dirty nappies within minutes of arrival. Our youngest grandson Hugo will rarely embrace anyone apart from his parents but was very happy with Alice and Hannah. Excellent.
This is a superb way for families to enjoy time together with great food, superb childcare in a fantastic house. We do think the staff days off should be covered given the holiday cost, may be a satellite team that covers those days.
Burrows Family - July 2018 (Guest)
TJ and Paige were outstanding - the meals were to a consistently outstanding standard and they accommodated our requirements and peculiarities brilliantly. Harry was genuinely excellent - we felt welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Hannah, our nanny, was an utter star - our children were very reluctant to leave!
Harry, Ben, Hannah and TJ were genuinely superb. We stay in many 5-star resorts and they were truly excellent throughout.

La Masion Blanche is a large, luxurious and tasteful villa located in the South of France. After driving up a beautiful curvy road immersed with stunning views of the French Rivera greenery and landscape, eventually you will find yourself at a gate wondering how it will look in the other side. As the gate slowly opens and you drive up the hill, you become overwhelmed by the size and beauty in front of you.
Perfect for a big family get together or celebration this villa has 9 rooms and can sleep up to 18 people. Each room is an en suite and has a lovely calm style. The living area is spacious and very family friendly also including a super playroom for the kids. Stepping out on the outdoor terrace you are surrounded by incredible views of the mountains of Italy towards St Jean Cap Ferrat and many other stunning views of the mountains. The highlight of this villa is the infinity pool that can be heated and the surrounding area outside around the pool. With comfortable couches and great tanning beds as well as a garden below makes it the most relaxing space. There are also plenty of things to do near by the villa within driving distance such as some local villages and towns including Valboone, Grasse, Opio and St Paul de Vence.

An incredible new addition to our portfolio of villas in the South of France and arguably now my favourite villa, La Maison Blanche is a true haven perched high enough to offer beautiful views of the Cote dAzur and make you feel like you are on top of the world! The villa itself is spacious, both inside and out, decorated and furnished to an extremely high standard combining a traditional feel with some modern luxuries! All rooms are great sizes with en suite bathrooms and direct access outside onto the gardens or terrace meaning it works well for any group make up.

Located just 5 minutes from the pretty traditional town of Valbonne, is my favourite villa La Maison Blanche, which has the best views of all our French Villas. Set high into the hillside its even possible to see Corsica on a clear day. Five of the bedrooms have the same breath-taking views, ensuring no one misses out on the sunsets or sunrises. Beautifully designed inside, the cool interiors are a welcome addition to the fantastic pool, outdoor terraces and Patanque/Boules court and there's even a cool cinema room to keep everyone entertained in the evening.
