The Al Yamm Villas by Anantara is made up of 30 luxury villas, looking out either over the sea or the saltwater mangrove lagoon. The resort design has been inspired by Arabic fishing and pearl diving villages and the villas mix rustic charm with modern luxury.
There are three villa categories, all decorated in a neutral style using carved wood and colors that complement the natural surroundings. Each villa has its own deck and The One and Two Bedroom Pool Villas come with their own plunge pool. Guests can step straight off their villa's deck onto the white sand of the beach and there is a beautiful infinity pool looking out to the sea where you can enjoy the sunshine from your lounger. When to go
The best time to visit the UAE is between October and November and then February and March, when temperatures hang around the mid-20s and the humidity is under control. While December and January are generally considered the best months to go, the weather over the last couple of ‘winters’ has been unpredictable with occasional cloud and rain.
The month of Ramadan means hotel rates are heavily discounted, but while outside the resort, Ramadan is strictly adhered to, within the resorts you will notice very little difference.
High summer (July and August) means heavy discounted hotels it’s a great option for a cheap getaway but it will be very very hot and very very humid!
