Moab has a desert climate with cool winters and extremely hot summers. The most pleasant seasons are spring and fall, especially if you want to experience the great outdoors. The glamping site is open between March and October.
Embrace your inner-adventurer at this luxury glamping site in the heart of the Moab desert. Explore two of Utah’s most fascinating National Parks whilst staying in a luxurious tent, offering you the opportunity to enjoy Utah’s spectacular desert.
Mere moments from the entrance of Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park, Moab Glamping provides a wealth of outdoor activities in a beautiful wild west landscape. On the edge of desert wilderness, Moab Glamping boasts a small number of luxurious safari-style canvas tents, expert naturalist guides and a huge variety of outdoor adventure options.
Wake to the sound of gentle wind and sunlight flooding through the canvas walls before taking a short morning stroll to the main tent for a delicious breakfast. Sip steaming hot cups of coffee or tea, drink fresh fruit juice and simply soak up the awe-inspiring scenery that surrounds you. Enjoy bagels, breakfast burritos or yoghurt and granola before heading back to your tent to prepare for the day's adventures. Anyone heading out as the sun rises can order the night before and take breakfast to go, so there is more time for exploring.
Soar around the desert on a jeep safari, spotting iconic national park sights to scurrying jack-rabbit and mule deer. Take to the Colorado River on a white-water rafting excursion and experience wild rapids as well as calmer waters, all whilst learning of the fascinating geology and native history of the Moab desert. Horse-riding, rock-climbing, mountain biking and stand up paddle boarding are also available for those who want to pack in all the activities the national parks can offer. Anyone wishing to really splash the cash can embark on an unforgettable scenic flight, soaring above the mesas of Canyonlands National Park all the way from Dead Horse Point to Grand Gulch.
Accommodation comes in the form of luxury canvas tents. With different layouts, tents can be suited to families or couples. Some tents come with adjacent tipis, where the kids can sleep in their own tent nearby to their parents. Stargazer tents feature an clear overhead panel and are perfect for couples wanting a romantic experience.
No matter the layout, guests will be able to enjoy the beautiful tents as each comes with a fully equipped bathroom with hot running showers, flushing toilets and sinks as well as luxurious beds and plenty of storage for clothes and accessories. Please note the children's tipi's do not come with a bathroom.
Although a glamping site, Moab Glamping offers great facilities that are perfectly suited to the camp. Breakfast and lunch are served inside the main tent, or around the fire-pit outside. Food is delicious and home made, allowing guests to fuel up for a day of adventure.
Guests are also able to BBQ during their stay, and you can collect ingredients from a nearby supermarket or have them delivered to your tent. Alternatively, the town of Moab is just 15 minutes away and is home to a number of great restaurants.
