When to go
Sedona is situated in the heart of Arizona. During the summer months it can be extremely hot with temperatures soaring to over 40 degrees, however, the heat is dry so more bearable. Winters are mild and pleasant although can be quite cold at night due to the elevation of the area. The best time to visit is Spring or Fall. Hiking is best during this time as the flowers bloom and the weather is warm but not scorching.
