Refined is not necessarily the first word that springs to mind when conjuring up images of a ranch, but The Ranch at Emerald Valley manages to surpass expectations, offering rustic yet luxurious ranch-style accommodation with plush furnishings, tasteful decor and a mouth-watering menu of delicious, home-cooked dishes.

Emerald Valley's location right in the heart of Pike National Forest makes it ideal for exploring the great outdoors, whether on foot or by horseback, and delivers many an opportunity for adventure for families and couples alike.

The one, two or three bedroom cabins are beautifully appointed with gas fireplaces, rich furnishings and modern amenities, and provide the perfect base from which you can fill your day with fly-fishing, guided hikes, riding, or exploring the scenic bike trails. Dining at The Ranch is usually a social affair and provides a perfect opportunity to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding forest. Meals are prepared using quality, local ingredients and the menus vary from season to season. The chefs are happy to cater to any specific dietary requirements guests may have, and after a successful session of fly-fishing they can prepare a tantalising dish from your fresh catch.
