Expect blue sky days with occasional short afternoon showers. Outdoor adventure and an abundance of art, culture and music events, many of which are free, attract visitors to Aspen in the summer. In autumn, the aspen and cottonwood run gold and red displaying a spectacular fall show. The days are sunny, with cold nights. Rain eventually gives way to snow. Winter brings with it enough deep snow to keep a skier happy well into April.
