Fall is Boston's most glorious season, though spring and summer are pleasant as well. These times bring in healthy-sized crowds due to favourable weather and special events. Weather usually remains warm throughout September, while cooler temperatures in October bring out the colorful foliage. Winter lasts too long for most people's tastes, stretching from December to April. During this period, visitors can expect temperatures below freezing and plenty of snow.

Description

The Mandarin Oriental is ideally located in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood, providing the perfect base to explore the city. It blends classic New England style with a dash of the Orient that creates what must be the hottest address in town.

With just 148 rooms and suites, the Mandarin Oriental, Boston does not come across as excessively large as some city hotels tend to do. It is ideally located on Boylston Street, with direct access to the Prudential Center where you can scour the boutiques before heading to the ‘Top of the Hub’ for a drink and the best views over Boston. Newbury is a block away for those interested in a little more shopping, restaurants and bars, and you are on the doorstep of the Freedom Trail for those wanting to explore Boston’s rich history and culture. Fenway Park is only a 10-minute walk away for those wanting to see a baseball game.

The Mandarin Oriental Boston is luckily very American – you get big rooms, big furniture and big smiles. - the staff are so attentive and often even remember your name. There are quite a few different room types, all gradually getting larger with better views. They all have large marble bathrooms with separate bath tubs and showers. With designer linens and state-of-the-art technology, you know you will get a great night’s sleep.

There is one main restaurant, Asana, serving delicious New England dishes, and there is the Spa Café for those wanting healthy options. The M Bar and Lounge attracts Boston’s glitterati, and their wonderful cocktails are not to be missed.

The hotel takes great pride in its 16,000 square foot spa and comprehensive selection of treatments and programs.
