Kyaninga Lodge is comprised of just eight cottages as well as the main lodge building. This makes for a peaceful and relaxing stay, perfect for unwinding after a day trekking with chimpanzee. Cottages are set apart offering guests complete privacy, and connect with the main lodge via a raised wooden walkway.
The main lodge at Kyaninga provides a welcoming seating area, spread around a double-sided, central, open fireplace. In the evenings enjoy dinner in the lodge's dining room, followed by a glass of wine by the fire. The lodge has two raised galleries which offer stunning views of the lake and the mountains, and also leads to two wooden decks with loungers. Wander down the steps to the pool and take in the lake views as you float in the water.
Each cottage provides ample space, all offering an indoor seating area as well as a private terrace. Here you can enjoy morning tea and coffee while admiring the impressive views. The wooden cottages are rustic yet comfortable, with modern bathroom facilities including free-standing bathtub and walk-in shower.
Meals at Kyaninga are served in the main lodge's dining room, and feature a combination of European dishes and local Ugandan ingredients. Straight from the kitchen garden or local markets, each dish is fresh and delicious.
