Hotel No.5

Nestled amongst one of Entebbe’s leafier suburbs, just a short distance from the expanse of Lake Victoria and ten minutes from the airport, Hotel No.5 is a boutique hotel set amongst tropical gardens with its own private pool. Contemporary inside and out, the hotel has been built around a central courtyard housing carefully tended gardens and a pool surrounded by seating areas and palm trees. Inside, there is a cosy lounge with plenty of comfortable seating and a modern dining room where a range of international and Ugandan dishes are served throughout the day.

Just fifteen bedrooms are spread throughout the hotel, each looking on to the pool and gardens from their private balconies. Elegantly furnished with muted tones and colourful African prints and artworks, they are simple yet spacious with en-suite bathrooms, flat screen televisions and Wi-Fi. Some of the larger apartment rooms are split across two levels, with the bedrooms on the first floor and an open plan kitchenette and living space below. The private, standalone Residence offers two bedrooms and additional space to spread out and relax, making it perfect for families.

Whether just for a short stopover or a longer stay in Entebbe, Hotel No.5 is a wonderful place to unwind. Along with the cooling outdoor pool, the hotel boasts a small spa offering an array of relaxing treatments, and a gym with a range of weights and cardio equipment. Venturing beyond the hotel’s walled gardens, Hotel No.5 is well placed to explore the shores of Lake Victoria, the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre or the city’s many markets, shops and restaurants.
