Devil’s Throat and Upper & Lower Circuits
Northeastern Argentina, Argentina
The thunderous waters of the Iguazu Falls can be admired from a network of walkways, including the 84 metre drop of Devil’s Throat from the kilometre of boardwalks that cross the Upper River Iguazu.
As well as the majestic falls, this walk offers up the incredible bird spotting opportunities, including the swifts that nest behind the falls, emerging in the early morning and at sunset.Combining this route with the Upper and Lower circuits provides a view of the San Martin, Bossetti and Dos Hermanas waterfalls from above and below, with 3.5km of walkways crossing the jungle and allowing further opportunities to enjoy the exceptional wildlife of the Atlantic forest. Being only 30 minutes from Awasi makes it possible to head out early in order to beat the crowds.
