Crew Club at Costa Navarino
This summer we launched a teens programme at Costa Navarino in Greece. One of our Crew leaders lets us know how the first week went.

It was our first week out here in Costa Navarino running the Crew program and it really did live up to the billing. From water-skiing to scuba diving our new teens programme proved to be an action-packed week of activities and adventures.
On the Friday we got our first experience of the Mediterranean Sea as Crew kicked off by battling the Greek wind with a spot of windsurfing before spending a more leisurely afternoon on the golf course accompanied by the resort’s resident golf pro.
Saturday morning we had our very own Wimbledon tournament on the clay courts of the Romanos after a fantastic lesson from the expert tennis coaches. In the afternoon we were thrown back into the deep end as Crew accepted a very unique and thrilling way of exploring the beautiful coastline of the Navarino bay via the “Tube Ride Challenge”. We then had the chance to bounce and splash across the turquoise water whilst honing our water-skiing and wakeboarding skills with Navarino’s very own qualified professionals.
After a competitive but enjoyable Sunday morning of pool volleyball, Crew spent the afternoon at the Ionian pirate’s haven, Proti Island. Accompanied by PADI certified instructors, we discovered underwater secrets and got a chance to experience the Mediterranean aquatic life.
On Monday Crew hopped back on the boat to spend the afternoon rock climbing nature’s untouched Proti Island before taking thrill-seeking jumps back into the refreshing Med Sea.
Proti Island was again our destination on Tuesday morning as we went snorkelling to discover more of the underwater world and investigated the rusting wreck of a merchant ship sunk by an Italian warplane.
On the final day, Crew took an historical but action-packed bike trekking tour with Navarino Outdoors. After cycling and hiking through the hidden gems of the Greek towns and mountains, Crew’s week came to an amazing end when coming face to face with the stunning horseshoe-shaped Voidokilla beach.
