After an early breakfast, you will be met by your guide and driven a short distance out of town into the hills to begin your trek. Stroll along a series of swtichback trail into the hills, passing through small villages and farms busy with farmers planting or harvesting anything from cabbages to tea. Alongside a cultural insight into life for those in rural Myanmar, hikers are rewarded with sweeping views over the hills. Enjoy lunch in one of the small villages, either in a local house or monastery before continuing the trek after lunch and heading back into Kalaw mid-afternoon. This is a fairly light trek, lasting approximately four to six hours depending on the chosen route and fitness level.
