The climate in Corfu, is warm and sunny from April/May to October. At the beginning of the season, the weather settles but it can sometimes be cool in the evenings. By mid/end of May, the weather generally settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August, when it can be very hot. If it rains, it usually clears quickly. September and October are normally pleasurable months.

Located on a 5 acre private estate just 10 minutes from Kassiopi, Corfu, Villa Ikos is a luxury house with infinity pool, gardens, mooring, beach and housekeeper. Sleeping six people, it's ideal for boat lovers and families wanting to explore North Corfu.
Villa Ikos is an elegant three bedroom house, which offers a truly luxury villa interior but with the added benefit of both a housekeeper/host at your disposal. Venetian influences and Corfiot design feature both inside and out, and the villa blends beautifully into both the landscape and the cleverly designed gardens, which are simply stunning. Ikos offers complete privacy, with a house, terraces, soft seating areas, boat mooring with the facility to hire a Yacht or Sunseeker if required and a small pebble beach. Staffed with a housekeeper, concierge/host and a cleaner all season, Ikos gives you plenty of time to relax, take in the breath-taking views and enjoy all that Corfu has to offer.
Affectionately known as 'Kensington-on Sea', North-East Corfu is littered with small bays, coves and has a stunning coastline, best explored by boat. The bustling Kassiopi, is a short drive away or a 10-15 minute walk, and as a great choice of tavernas, bars and small shops. For something quieter, the sleepy fishing villages of Kalami of the BBC's, 'The Durrells' fame and San Stefano, can be easily reached a short drive further south.
Located 3 minutes' walk from Villa Ikos is the larger, Villa Peia, sleeping 14 people, which can be taken together with Ikos to then sleep 20 guests. Although located within the same 5 acres estate, the layout of both the gardens and pools ensures that each villa functions independently and offers optimum privacy and seclusion.
The elegant interior has all the comforts you would expect from home. There is a ground floor King/Twin room behind the kitchen, complete with en-suite shower room and dual aspect windows. On the first floor there are two further bedrooms, a Super King/Twin and a another Twin bedded room, both with en-suite shower rooms. All bedrooms are named after a Greek God or Goddess, adding to the charm and warmth of the elegant interior. Each room feels spacious and comes fully equipped with wardrobes, air-conditioning/ceiling fans, hair-dryers, Plasma screen televisions with satellite television, Ipod dock stations, dressing gowns, Ortigia bathroom products, English sprung mattresses, Egyptian cotton linen, safes and torches.
A nanny and baby-sitting can be arranged on request.
The following services are included. For six days of the week, Concierge assistance is provided for all guests, with a housekeeper providing day to day cleaning for up to 16 hours per week. There is also a grounds person and general handyman who replenish logs for the fire and keeps both the pool and grounds tidy. There is a postal box in the courtyard, with a daily collection by the housekeeper.
Linen is changed twice weekly and the following children’s equipment is provided on a complimentary basis; cot, bed guards, stair guards, intercom, play den and highchairs.
In addition to the above the following services can be arranged and charged locally: Peronal Trainer, yoga, Pilates training, Massage therapist, beauty treatments and hairdressing, laundry and dry cleaning, Doctor and pharmacy service, Wine Cellar – stocked with wine, prosecco and champagne. Arrival grocery and beverage service and outside of July & August, a local cook or chef (must be requested at time of booking). Outside Catering for special occasions.
In addition to the three bedrooms, there is a beautiful open-plan, living, dining and kitchen space which fills most of the ground floor. This opens directly onto a wrap-around terrace, with loungers, sunken pool terrace, day beds and a stunning infinity, freshwater 10m x 5m infinity pool. The living area also connects to a covered outdoor dining terrace with barbecue, so there’s no shortage of places to eat and relax. The views of Kaparelli Island and the Albanian Mountains, coupled with the sumptuous soft seating, Sonos music system, American fridge and ice machine, create the ideal atmosphere for relaxing vacation. For the more active, there's plenty of equipment at guests disposal, including a boules court, Hobie Cat Outfitter kayak, Naish paddle boards, wake board, fishing rods, life Jackets and snorkeling equipment. There is a boat mooring and small pebble beach to the south of the property which is shared with Villa Peia next door. It is possible to hire a Yacht or Sunseeker, should you wish to explore the coastline or many beautiful bays.
Villa Ikos has all the ingredients for a relaxing and sumptuous stay and your concierge can arrange a number of exciting activities, including private music, art or Greek cookery lessons, photography courses, scuba diving, fishing, horse riding and tennis to name but a few. If you wish to explore further, try some sailing, hire a mountain-bike, hike with a private guide, take a day trip to Paxos or paraglide at Pantokrator Mountain. North Corfu has some lovely villages to visit, including Kassiopi with its bustling marina and tavernas, Kalami, the sleepy village made famous from the BBC series, The Durrell's, plus the pretty fishing village of Agios Stefanos. All of these can be accessed by road, but why not experience why so many come to Corfu each year and explore the coastline, with its many bays and coves and hire a boat or yacht. In Greece, no coastline or beach is deemed private, so there's plenty to see!
