The typical Mediterranean climate of Provence and the Cote d'Azur has long drawn visitors here. Late Spring brings warm temperatures that can reach nearly 30C by July. Sunshine is abundant, with nearly 12 hours a day in mid-summer. The mistral wind can bring a cooler wind in early Spring, but this part of the Riviera is more protected. July is the driest month, and rain showers tend to be infrequent.

Bowen Family - August 2018 (Guest)
Great villa staff who were approachable and friendly and pulled out all the stops for a birthday party and making sure
everyone had snacks and favorite drinks throughout the day. Zara looked after Edward very well. He kept her busy and she seemed to enjoy it! It was my first time with an in villa nanny and it was a great experience.
Car hire was a very long wait as even though the pre booking meant our reservation was quick others had not pre booked and took around 20 mins each.
Bennett Family - July 2018 (Guest)
The villa team exceeded all our expectations in all respects. Our children's swimming got better and better with the help from Ruth our nanny. Great face painting by both Jordan and Ruth. Care and fine food from our host and chef, Max and Magic.
Bird Family - July 2018 (Guest)
Second catered villa vacation with Scott Dunn, equally lovely. Alex, our chef - very talented, super organized, very tidy.
Impressive meals kept coming out of thin air, our kind of chef! Charlie, our villa manager, talented all round,
very charming, we couldnt have asked for a better host! We wish you both all the best for what were sure will be
very bright careers.
Coombs Family - July 2018 (Guest)
Lovely villa. Outdoor area would benefit from being slabbed rather than stones for children. Great selection of toys. Rooms all very nice. Bathrooms would benefit from heated towel rails to dry towels. Love the Bamford toiletries.
Wine could be improved. Good variety of food but some days a bit same-ey. Eg Veal at lunch and dinner. Salads for lunch were excellent. Breakfast quiet basic - not as good as last time. Jodie, our nanny, was great and very engaging with the children. We loved the convenience of everything being organized for us, with the ability to put children to bed and enjoy the evening.

An exciting new villa for us in the South of France, Bastide de lOrmee is a beautifully traditional building, newly refurbished throughout to give it a very fresh and contemporary interior. The large pool and lawned garden is the perfect setting to relax whilst the children play! From the garden and terraces you can enjoy views of the local villages and the hilly Cote dAzur landscape.

A villa of contrast Bastide de LOrmee has an enviable position, set high into the hillside and with far reaching views over the Cote d'Azur from all the bedrooms, kitchen, outdoor terrace and pool area. Sympathetically restored, its a mix of beautiful traditional stone on the exterior and has a stunning contemporary design on the inside. Particularly suited to larger families, it also works really well for two families traveling together, with two equally attractive master suites, one on the top floor and one on the ground floor. Located near the famous perched villages of Tourettes-sur-Loup and St Paul de Vence, there are no shortage of places to visit and explore.
