Brand new and beautifully decorated with contemporary and traditional mountain furnishings, this gorgeous home is one of Aspen’s newest, located just two blocks from the commercial core across the street from the famed Paepcke Park Gazebo. The developer spared no expense with the finishes throughout, including a work-out room, a dedicated office and fully wired audio/visual/internet system, wine room, an outdoor covered “den” with gas fireplace, a gourmet kitchen fit for a professional chef and stone back patio with water feature and hot tub.
The new owner has completed the home with stunning designer interiors and furnishings, including custom made antler chandeliers. Throughout the home here is a wonderful feeling of space accentuated by the clean lines and beautifully classic, simply luxurious style. The vaulted living space on the top level of the home offers views of Aspen Mountain, gas fireplace and flat screen television, wet bar with wine cooler, and access to the back deck with barbecue grill. When to go
The ski season in the United States is longer than that in Europe. Most resorts open sometime in November, with Thanksgiving (the fourth Thursday in that month) being a common opening time, and stay open until mid to late April. The Rocky Mountains in Colorado and Wyoming have the highest peaks and due to the semi-arid climate, have abundant snowfall with some great powder. The exceptionally high altitude means December through to February can be extremely cold, with temperatures sometimes reaching as low as -12C, although the skiing conditions remain very good. Warmer temperatures in the Spring mean more variable skiing conditions and softer, forgiving snow.
