Offering warm temperatures throughout the year the Caribbean is a perfect year round destination. With an average of 9 hours sunshine a day the peak season runs from December through to April which is the dry season when you can expect very little rainfall. May to November are the slightly wetter months where you will find an increase in rainfall as the summer season goes on and with that some humidity, however the Summer months are still a great time to travel as the temperatures are hot and the rain tends to come in short heavy bursts but not all day long. The wettest months with the most humidity are September and October and these are the most probable months for hurricanes to occur in the region although many islands have not experienced hurricanes for a number of years. The average daily temperatures range from the mid-seventies in the winter months and mid-eighties in the summertime.

Overlooking St Lucia's Piton World Heritage site and the Caribbean Sea, Jade Mountain is a resort within a resort and quite unique. The extraordinary Sanctuaries, most with private infinity pools, are ideal for honeymooners to relax in complete seclusion.
Jade Mountain is home to the Sky, Star, Moon, Sun and Galaxy Infinity Pool Suites. Each suite is uniquely designed with a spacious open plan bedroom and living area, as well as a private infinity edge pool (Jacuzzi only in the Sky suites). With the 4th wall missing entirely, the suites give an amazing feeling of floating in space. The result is a dramatic setting from which to embrace the full glory and infinite views of St Lucia’s twin Pitons and the shimmering Caribbean Sea – a view you are not likely to ever forget. Bathrooms have also been individually designed and feature rain showers and chromatherapy whirlpool tubs which are raised to take full advantage of the unforgettable vistas while bathing.
The restaurant at Jade Mountain serves delicious Caribbean cuisine and there is a fantastic spa offering a full range of classical body and beauty treatments, as well as Ayurvedic and holistic services. A stay at Jade Mountain is an exercise in complete romantic indulgence, the Sanctuaries are unlike anything else you will find on the island and have to be experienced to be believed! Guests at Jade Mountain can also use all the facilities on offer at Anse Chastenet.
The 29 rooms are all individual and only have 3 walls. The missing front wall offers a spectacular open view to the Piton mountains and ocean below. The bathrooms are completely open within the room, they are on a raised platform but there is no separation between the bath, toilet and the room. Each room category has been crafted to reflect the size of each room and its infinity pool as well as the scope of the view.
The rooms are contemporary in design and mostly all feature amazing infinity pools, each of which has been individually designed and features night-time illumination with fibre optic lights that guests can personally control. Each room comes with a complimentary butler who is on call for anything you may need.
|Sky Jacuzzi Suite||
In addition to the 24 infinity pool sanctuaries at Jade Mountain, there are 5 Sky Jacuzzi suites, located on the lower hillside level. These are spacious suites of about 1650 square feet, 4 of which feature the open 4th wall to maximize the amazing view of the Pitons and the ocean. One sky suite is enclosed and air-conditioned. Sky Suites feature a split-level room lay out, with a large and comfortable living space feautring a raised Jacuzzi tub.
These spacious rooms measure 130 - 170m² and have an open 4th wall offering unparalleled views of the Pitons and the Caribbean Sea, as well as a 40m² infinity pool from which to take in the view.
These rooms are even more spacious that the Star Sanctuaries measuring 150 - 180m² of living space with the iconic open 4th wall, as well as a huge 60m² infinity pool from which to take in the spectacular view of the Piton Mountains and Caribbean Sea.
These rooms offer a 270 degree panoramic view from their particularly elevated position. Measuring a huge 185m² with pools of up to 80m², the combination of additional square footage and amazing panorama makes these sanctuaries the most desirable for all those seeking the ultimate experience.
Located on the highest level of Jade Mountain, along with the Sun Sanctuaries these suites offer the most spacious accommodation option at Jade Mountain with a huge 185m² of living space with pools of up to 80m², however their elevated position commands the best panoramic views of the hotel.
Children under the age of 15 years cannot be accommodated in Jade Mountain, due to its hillside position and open-walled accommodation.
Facilities at Jade Mountain include a restaurant, bar, swimming pool and library exclusive to guests at the hotel. Two further restaurants and bars, a tennis court, an excursion and car rental desk, two beachside boutiques, a spa, a water sports center and a PADI dive center are all available at the nearby sister property Anse Chastanet.

It is all about the views at Jade Mountain! The fourth wall is missing in all the rooms (known as Sanctuaries), giving you breath taking views of the famous Pitons. All the rooms are incredibly private and that is what is key at Jade Mountain. You can enjoy the facilities down at Anste Chastanet, directly below and there is a shuttle which goes to and from the two properties.

Astounded by the design of Jade Mountain I spent the first few minutes here just repeating wow! The design is quite incredible and ambitious to build this property so high up. I loved the style of the rooms, the space and the private pool with views over the Pitons. Apparently couples quite often enter their rooms and dont leave for days I can see why! Plus you have the added attraction of using the beach at Anse Chastanet so beach lovers can also get their fix here.

Your complete hideaway, perfect for a romantic getaway, Jade Mountain offers complete privacy where your room starts at the bridge. No doors, no walls, no windows, no glass so your Sanctuary is completely open plan, which may not be for everyone. Each Sanctuary is individual in style where all the pools are very slightly different including the color of the recycled tiles they use.
With the 4th wall absent you have uninterrupted views of the Pitons and you need not worry about insects and mosquitoes, the yellow bulbs they use detract them.
You can completely shut off from your busy day to day schedule at home with no television, telephone (except for the mobile to call your butler), radio or WiFi means you can really escape from it all.
Private, calm, relaxing and peaceful - Perfect!

Privacy is the key at Jade Mountain, with each of the suites (know at Jade Mountain as Sanctuaries) completely individual even down to the bathroom sinks and color of the pool tiles. The fourth wall is missing to maximize the amazing views of the magnificent Piton's enjoyed from each and every Sanctuary. Each suite comes with a firefly mobile phone, from which you can call your butler from anywhere on the island.

Jade Mountain is a stunning hotel and has one of the most breath-taking views in the world to wake up to from your bed. I would say the suites at Jade Mountain are some of the best I have seen in my traveling and hotel management career. You will never want to leave your room the views are so spectacular, this is because of the 3 walls There are no windows, this is not necessary! They also have 4 poster beds with mosquito nets so not to worry. The longest a guest has stayed in their room without coming out or venturing to the sister hotel Anse Castanet with the beach below is 5 days! The rooms are so private as you can only look out, no one can look in! There are no televisions in the suites, and internet access only on request, as the view is all that is needed.
There is wonderful architecture up close, and it looks so different from afar! Very clever and must have taken the architect so long to design and create!
There are Shuttles on hand should you like to venture from your bedroom to Anse Chastanet where you can enjoy all of their facilities!

Like Anse Chastenet, this hotel is a real experience. It is a higher category hotel than Anse Chastenet, much more contemporary with up to date design. The rooms all have amazing views of the Pitons, and the individual private pools are lovely. The walkways over to the rooms are very cool - giving an exclusive entrance to your room. Your own room butler is at hand for anything you may need.
Again the rooms are missing a wall!! There are no curtains and so you are right in the middle of nature. Well worth splashing out on as a very unique experience.

Wow! This is the only way to describe my first reaction when arriving into my Sun Sanctuary for the night. It was unlike anywhere Id ever stayed before and was simply breathtaking! Jade Mountain is a phenomena. A completely new concept in accommodation set with unparalleled views of the Piton Mountains.
Every Sanctuary is huge with one entire wall completely missing and open to the elements and the stunning ocean and Piton views. Yet, the Sanctuaries have been so cleverly designed that they are completely private and not overlooked, so despite the open side, no one can see in. Add to this four posted beds, living areas and your own private plunge pool (maintained by a state of the art freshwater filtering system so no chlorine) and you have the perfect romantic spot.
This is a couples bolthole. There are no children here and you are left alone to enjoy the experience unless of course you want some room service, an in room massage or champagne, then the dedicated staff are there to serve your every need.
Its true what they say about having too much of a good thing though. The Sanctuaries are so indulgent that you wont want to move from them, so I would recommend a 4 or 5 night stay and then perhaps head down to neighboring Anse Chastanet for a few days. As wonderful as Jade Mountain is, so is the island of St Lucia. It would be a pity to come all this way and not experience a little of it.
Bean to Bar Experience at Hotel Chocolat
Bean to Bar at Boucan is a unique opportunity for guests to create their own chocolate from the cacao grown on the Rabot Estate. Taking in the whole of the estate from the cocoa groves to the original plantation house where you will make your own bar.
