To start planning your holiday to Taj Rishikesh Resort and Spa
Sitting on the banks of the Ganges this beautiful property is set in the foothills of the Himalayas and approximately 45 minutes from the famous Spiritual and Yoga capital of Rishikeesh.
The resort is set in beautiful gardens of 12.5 acres with stunning views of the hills and the Ganges. Built with local stone and wood this property resembles a Canadian Ski lodge rather than a typical Indian Himalayan Hotel.
Each room offers stunning views over either the Ganges or Himalayas and maximises these views with floor to ceiling windows. Each room is extremely light and airy and feels mostly contemptory but with the touches of Garhwal design also apparent as well also offers a sense of location. The hotel currently offers a range of deluxe rooms to suites spread out around the property. There will also be the development of a further three more room types including a luxury pool villa.
Children are welcome at the property and family rooms are available. There is not a kids club or babysitting facilities.
Facilities at the property include two swimming pools, an expansive spa and yoga pavilion, and a large library. For dining options guests can choose between Rock Flour which serves a range of international cuisine, Riverside which focuses solely on Himalayan food or Pebble Beach which an open air pizza venue.
Spend your days walking and hiking on the various trails around the property. Unwind and reflect in the yoga pavilion followed by a treatment in the Jiva Spa. We can also arrange for you to have a guided tour of Rishikesh. The highlight however would be the daily evening Arti ceremony which takes on the banks of the Ganges.
Delhi by night
Delhi has some of the most amazing restaurants. We always keep our ear to the ground about the latest places to dine, and speak to all our guests about dinner reservations before they travel.
