The monsoon season begins around June, when the hot temperatures of summer are cooled with an influx of clouds and rain. On average, the hottest months of the year are April and May. The best time to visit Goa is between late October and early April. The peak tourist season is from mid-December to mid-January, when the weather is near perfect, with daytime temperatures rarely going beyond 32°C.

The hotel is split into two sections, and we would recommend staying in the Diwa Club wing. Best described as a resort within a resort, the Diwa Club has its own lap pool and open air jacuzzi. There is also a private bistro which is open throughout the day and serves a variety of cuisine from all-day breakfasts to delectable tasting menus.
The bedroom design is orientated around the hotel's beautiful natural surroundings, and each room and suite has its own private terrace or balcony meaning you can really make the most of the peaceful setting.
Bathrooms are a point of pride at the Alila Diwa. They are incredibly spacious, with separate showers and beautiful large bathtubs which provide a truly therapeutic experience.
Within the Diwa Club wing there are three room categories; Diwa Club Room, Diwa Club Suite and Diwa Club Two-Bedroom Suite, with the latter two offering an ideal space for families.
For those looking to venture outside of the hotel grounds, there is a beach nearby which is accessible by foot or by a short shuttle ride. There are also a number of restaurants within easy walking distance.

The Diwa Club Suite and Diwa Club Two-Bedroom Suite are perfect for families. The Diwa Club Suite has a separate living room and sofa bed and the Two-Bedroom Suite boasts two bedrooms with king-size beds, two spacious bathrooms and a large living room.
All of the hotel's rooms and suites have their own private terrace or balcony, allowing you to sit out and admire the lush surrounding countryside.
