One of St Lucia's Heritage sites located on seven acres of land. The Lushan Country Life tour has much to offer, giving you the opportunity to take in St Lucia's natural beauty and learn how good life used to be over a century ago. There is a forest and garden trail that your knowledgeable guide will walk you through while telling you about the various trees and plants and spotting the birds that visit the forest on a regular basis.

As you walk there are various stops on the way to see a traditional hut, the medicinal and herbal gardens, coal making pit, shell a coconut and try some of the local fruit grown here, the crab apples and mango are delicious! Half way through your walk you will arrive at Mama's Kitchen, a great opportunity for a little rest while Mama tells stories of how good life used to be followed by some treats from her kitchen, all cooked traditionally.

We would recommend allowing at least 2-hours for a visit to the Lushan Country Life but could easily spend longer taking in the beautiful surroundings. It is however not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
