Best Time to Visit Seychelles
What is the best time to visit the Seychelles is a question we are asked a lot, owing to its ever changing tropical climate. Truth be told, it's is a year round destination with consistent temperatures of around 30 degrees and sunshine, however as with the rest of the world, there are slightly better times of the year to go than others.
Between April and May or October and November are the best months of the year to visit as these are the calmer, drier periods better for diving and snorkelling and avoid the two trade winds that envelope the islands each year. From the northwest trade wind blows and from May to September the southeast trade wind blows, which can result in large rolling waves on the southern facing beaches. The best hotels to visit during this time are those with sweeping north facing beaches. December, January and February tend to be the wettest times of the year, but this doesn't deter many travellers from venturing here.
