Six Senses Zighy Bay Musandam Voyage

Musandam Peninsula, Oman

Dhahab is Six Senses Zighy Bay's luxurious traditional Omani dhow sailing boat, which departs the hotel for 2 night cruises through the azure waters of the Musandam fjords, past quaint fishing villages and against the backdrop of the Al Hajar mountains.

Handcrafted in 2013, Dhahab was designed to reflect the traditional Omani sailing dhows used centuries ago. Meaning 'gold' in Arabic, the vessel is reminiscent of the golden age of sailing, yet fitted out in a beautiful, relaxed, contemporary style, which perfectly complements the decor of the Six Senses Zighy Bay villas.

Dhahab can comfortably accommodate up to six guests on the lower-ground deck in one king size and two twin bed cabins. The king size master cabin is equipped with a large bathroom with oval bathtub, moonlight windows and a spacious shower room, and the cabin is also furnished with a writing desk and a lounging sofa that can be set-up for an additional guest.

A cruise on board Dhahab is the perfect way to experience the glistening waters of Haffa, Sanat, Lima, Khor Kabahl and Khor Habaleen and witness the Al Hajar mountain range, with its visible green ophiolites. Dine al fresco on the foredeck whilst admiring the scenery, and enjoy meals prepared from fresh local ingredients and the catch of the day, all catered to your individual preferences.

While away the days relaxing in the sun on the upper decks, or out on the water kayaking, snorkelling or fishing. The Musandam Peninsula is renowned for its dive sites, and Dhahab offers a tailor-made dive experience for all levels. Alternatively, remain in the comfort of the boat and enjoy a wide selection of games or a movie in the private lounge, or join the chef to learn about local culinary traditions in a cookery class. Once the sun has set, Dhahab's upper deck provides the perfect platform for stargazing.
