Explore Abel Tasman National Park's iconic coastline on this idyllic private charter. Your journey will take you passed Split Apple Rock, Kaiteriteri, Marahau, Adele and Fishermans Islands, and on to Tonga Island seal colony.
Discover the beauty of New Zealand's Abel Tasman National Park and the unspoilt Tonga Island Marine Reserve during this relaxed day trip.
After a good breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Stephens Bay where the boat will be waiting. Set sail and head to your first stop of the day, Split Apple Rock. Here and learn about the area from your guide and take time to enjoy these incredible views.
Next cruise to the Tonga Island Marine Reserve, home to a colony of seals normally seen basking in the sun. Don't forget your camera as you won't want to miss out on the numerous photo opportunities here.
Afterwards, you'll head to a sheltered bay where you can relax on board while the crew set up lunch. For those wanting to get off the boat, take a dip in the sea, enjoy some sea kayaking, or head ashore for a pre-lunch bush walk.
Everything you need will be provided on board including towels, lunch, sunscreen, sea kayaks, snorkelling gear and life jackets. For those who wish to do some hiking on the Abel Tasman Coastal Track, we recommend you bring some sturdy footwear along with your swimwear and a warm jacket in case it gets cold. Please note, this excursion is flexible and can be tailored to suit you.
