Average time to visit
The best time to visit Burma is during the dry season from November to April. At this time the warm and sunny days are ideal for sightseeing throughout the country. The temperatures start to rise in March, and May to September is best avoided as this is the rainy season when sightseeing can become difficult.
To start planning your holiday to Ngapali Bay Villas & Spa
Ngapali Bay Villas & Spa is a stylish oceanfront luxury resort in Burma overlooking the Indian Ocean. With just 32 exquisitely designed villas, the hotel is a perfect place to relax and conclude a tour of Burma.
Designed by acclaimed British architect David Wordsworth, each of the hotel’s villas has a wonderful sea view. It feels very much like a luxury boutique hotel, blending modern design with subtle inspiration from Burma such as using local paintings, antiques and teak floors set against white-washed walls.
There are four villa types to choose from. They all feature high ceilings with large picture windows looking out to the ocean. The four suites are right on the beach-front and feature a massive teak bath tub. Next, the Deluxe Sea View Villas with Plunge Pools are about half the size of the suites but have a small plunge pool and private deck. The Deluxe Sea View Villas are set a little further back within the resort, yet still have partial sea views.
The main restaurant opens out onto a terrace overlooking the ocean and serves a range of dishes including locally caught seafood. For those who want to experience something a little bit more special then you can dine on the beach. The Frangipani Spa has a range of treatments on offer.
All of the villas are varying distances from the beach but each have a view of the ocean through the floor to ceiling windows. The 4 Suite Villas and Deluxe Beach Front Villas are directly on the beach with their own pavilion and reclining chairs. The 8 Deluxe Sea View Villas with plunge pool are the second in line from the beach with their own private deck and plunge pool. The 16 Deluxe Sea View Villas are third in line from the beach.
Tamarind Dining- you can be seated either in the restaurant or on the wide open-air terrace at the ocean front. Make your choice from a comprehensive selection, including the catch-of-the-day freshly prepared with varying degrees of spiciness. The restaurant takes pride in serving a day and night menu of gourmet’s delight, just what the time-zone hopping tourists would need. Pass a few leisure hours at the pool side and be served a tropical cocktail or fruit juice from the quaint little poolside salad bar. An alternative to the restaurant is the elegant ocean front dining right on the white sand beach. Enjoy the never-ending sound of the waves and enjoy the traditional Rakhine style barbecue on the sand at twilight, arranged at your request.

What a beautiful hotel! The rooms are spacious with wonderfully high ceilings and have been positioned in order to ensure that every room has a sea view through a lovely big picture window. The food is delicious and really a work of art and the staff are friendly.
