The Gordon Town Trail

Jamaica

Swimmers and water lovers will delight in this low difficulty three-hour trail.

Follow the Hope River downhill, crossing tiny bridges. Splash in fresh, clear water swimming-holes and duck under waterfalls amid craggy rocks and vivid foliage, the way you’ve always dreamed of. Much of the hike itself follows the old Parochial trail, an ancient, well-trodden path still used by the villagers of Gordon Town today. The way is cool, shaded by trees, always within earshot of rushing water and the distinctive, individual trills of our colourful local birds.

This hike will take approximately 2-3 hours with a guide. Make sure you wear good walking shoes, trainers or hiking boots. Water and snack are included. The cost of this tour is US$65 per person, payable locally.
