As you walk through the museum trails, you will follow the personal histories of ten characters, from their recruitment to the Palmach in 1941 into the 1948 War of Independence, as well as the historical events in between.
Opened to the public in the year of 2000, the Palmach Museum commemorates the contribution of the Palmach defence organization to the creation of the State of Israel. Palmach was the paramilitary unit created in 1941 to help the British combat the Nazis and formed the backbone of the Israeli army during the 1948 War of Independence.
