Spend a day (or more) in the company of a professional wildlife photographer to hone your skills and make sure you take back some fantastic photos of your safari in the South Luangwa.
Your private photographic guide, who is a qualified walking and safari guide in his own right, will accompany you for the day to help you get the most out of your camera. He'll accompany you on your game-drives or walking safaris, in addition to the guide from your camp, adding a photographic element to your day. Edward is a professional guide and photographer living full-time in the Luangwa Valley. He is a naturalist and has a love is for the park, its inhabitants and the pleasure of being immersed in the park's wild places. He can not only help you make the best of your camera settings, but also anticipate an animal's movements, telling you when and where to take the shot to capture the moment perfectly!
The day can be tailored around your level of skill, whether you're a novice, intermediate or advanced photographer. His safaris are absolutely not a techie camera class where discussions revolve around apertures and technical camera details, but more a chance for safari-lovers to enjoy the benefit of spending time with a guide who prioritises photography alongside outstanding sightings and having a great time. He won't change the tone or composition of your tailored safari, only add an additional element to your safari and help you to take outstanding photos as a record of your trip.
We can arrange for Edward to join you for one day, or multiple days of your safari, depending on your preference. This needs to be pre-booked before you travel, to ensure his availability, so please speak to your Travel Consultant for more details.
